Agreement
By using freshset.ca, booking an appointment, or visiting our studio, you agree to these terms. They're plain-language because they should be. If anything's confusing, ask.
Bookings, deposits, and cancellations
- A credit card hold is required to confirm any appointment.
- Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before with no charge.
- Inside 24 hours, 50% of the service is charged to the card on file.
- No-shows are charged the full service.
- Late by more than 15 minutes may result in a shortened service or reschedule, at our discretion.
Pricing and tiers
Prices listed on this site are starting prices. Final pricing depends on length, art tier, and add-ons. Your tech will confirm the tier and total before starting work — there are no surprise charges at the till.
Repair guarantee
If a corner lifts or a tip cracks within 7 days of your appointment, we repair it free. After 7 days, single-nail repairs are $8 per nail.
Health and safety
- Please reschedule if you have a contagious infection (cold, flu, COVID, conjunctivitis, etc.).
- Tell us about allergies, sensitivities, and any open wounds on your hands or feet before we start.
- We follow Ontario's Public Health regulations for personal-services settings, including single-use file/buffer items, autoclave-pouched steel, and sanitized stations.
Liability
We are insured. We don't guarantee outcomes for clients with bone, skin, or autoimmune conditions affecting the nail bed — and we may decline to apply gel or extensions where we judge it unsafe. We will always explain why.
Photo and social-media use
We sometimes photograph finished sets for our portfolio and Instagram. We always ask before posting, and we never include faces unless you explicitly say it's fine. Tell us "no photo" at the start of your appointment and we won't take any.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Significant updates will be flagged the next time you book.
